My 47-Year History with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America

Hello Friends,

Becoming a Big Brother Mentor in 1977, and being associated today on the Board of Directors, has been a tremendous blessing in my life!
We have individual and company opportunities’ to serve, all designed to make a major impact in a young person’s life.

If you or a friend would like more information, please check out the Big Brother/Big Sisters website above.

Memory Lane…Some highlights 1977 to today.

With both my Littles!
Bob on the right and Taylor in the middle in 1998.

Christmas 1979…Bob, with his mom Sue and brother Steve.

I was a young pilot. Bob and I did a lot of flying back then.
Bob decided to join the Airforce. In 2001, he sent me home a flag he flew over Afghanistan! Bob retired from the Airforce 15 years ago – with over 20 years of service!

We were always checking out airplanes.

I was matched with Taylor in 1994.
Here we are at a Big Brother’s event. I still have those glasses!

We spent a lot of time on the Wildwood Boardwalk.
I’m sure in this picture – I’m having a better time than Taylor!

We were both big fans of Batman. I still am!

Celebrating Taylor’s 21st birthday. Time passes so fast…Friendships last forever!

I couldn’t be any prouder of the men and fathers they have become! Taylor lives two miles from me with his wife Becca and their two sons, Jackson and Jason.

Before Bob was married, he also became a Big Brother. Bob now lives in Colorado and has two sons, Preston and Carter.

He still works for the government in the Department of Defense.

Thank you for viewing our story.
